Yuko Akiyama serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at J.LEAGUE, contributing to the strategic governance of Japanese football since March 2024, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and fan engagement. Simultaneously, Yuko holds the position of Head of Global Brand Management and Managing Executive Officer at Sanrio, tasked with enhancing the global relevance of Sanrio brands through comprehensive character strategies. Prior experience includes significant roles at Google from October 2011 to May 2023, where Yuko managed product strategy and P&L for the Google Nest portfolio across APAC, and oversaw marketing strategies for various devices in Japan.
