Samir Mehta

Samir Mehta has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Samir is currently working as the Group Head - IT at Sansera Engineering Limited since May 2021. Prior to this, they were associated with General Motors India for a significant period, where they held various roles. From September 2016 to April 2021, they served as the Global Finance IT SAP Architect. Before that, they were the General Manager, IT from April 2013 to April 2021. Other roles held by him at General Motors include Asia Pacific SAP Architect & Infrastructure Manager, SAP Sustain and Operation Manager, Global SAP Applications Service Owner, Deputy General Manager, IT, Global SAP COE, SAP Program Manager for several locations, Senior Divisional Manager, SAP Program Manager for Asia, Divisional Manager, Senior Manager, Senior SAP Basis Consultant, and SAP Basis Consultant. Samir started their career as a Software Engineer at Gujarat Infotech Limited from January 1998 to April 1999, and before that, they worked as an Oracle Database Administrator at CMC Limited from September 1996 to December 1997.

Samir Mehta obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from M S University, Baroda, from 1990 to 1993. Samir then pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree at Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology, Nadiad, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in the field of Artificial Intelligence, including the AI Foundations for Everyone Specialization, Artificial Intelligence Foundations Specialist, Building AI Powered Chatbots Without Programming, Chatbot Building Essentials, Getting Started with AI using IBM Watson, and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI), all from Coursera in November 2019.
