William Kelly has a diverse range of work experience. Their most recent position is as an Assistant Project Manager at SNA Displays, where they began in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat from January 2020 to June 2021, where they held the role of Materials Engineer II / Project Lead. In this position, they focused on welding engineering and had competencies in project management, materials engineering, nondestructive testing (NDT), and machine learning R&D. Before that, they were a Research & Development Systems Engineer at BONFIRE TECHNOLOGIES LLC from September 2019 to January 2020, where they worked on machine learning R&D and implemented Pytorch/Fastai libraries for high-accuracy automatic license plate recognition.

Earlier in their career, William worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Gas Dynamics Laboratory in 2017, where they conducted research for Princeton's Fluid Mechanics Transport Phenomena Group. Their work focused on channel flow turbulence and dynamically scaled testing of wind turbines. William also designed hardware for use in vertical axis turbine testing using PTC Creo and wrote data acquisition/analysis code using NI LabView.

William's work experience also includes a Sales & Marketing Internship at BASIS Independent Schools in 2016 and an internship at MISHAAL Aerospace in 2014.

William Kelly started their education in 2010 at BASIS Oro Valley, where they completed their secondary education, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. William then attended Princeton University from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In May 2022, they obtained a certification in Google Project Management from Coursera.
