Jake Nystrom

Jake Nystrom has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jake started working at Stryker in 2013 as a Frontend Developer and later transitioned into roles as a Project Manager. During their time at Stryker, Jake managed software solutions and cross-vendor interfaces, analyzed complex information, and implemented solutions in a fast-paced data-driven environment. Jake also provided consultation and support for software and hardware needs for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) in their Emergency Medical Services Bureau. Jake built and maintained operational relationships with the LAFD and internal departments, acted as a subject matter expert, and worked with third-party vendors to meet compliance requirements. Jake was responsible for 24/7 support and the implementation of new hardware and software for the LAFD. In 2018, Jake moved on to work as an Insurance Advisor at Far North Insurance, Inc. and in 2021, they joined Sansio as the Director of Professional Services, where they currently hold a position.

Jake Nystrom completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Systems and Health Information Management from The College of St. Scholastica, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2020, they enrolled at Vanderbilt University and pursued Full Stack Web Development studies, which they completed in 2021. Jake also obtained additional certifications in Web Development from Vanderbilt University School of Engineering in April 2021, and in Insurance Agent, Property & Casualty from Far North Insurance, Inc. in November 2018.
