Cory Martinez

Cory Martinez currently serves as the Deputy Director of Surveillance for Horse Safety at 1/ST, where responsibilities include developing equine surveillance programs. At Santa Anita Park, Cory has held roles as the 3rd Party Lasix Coordinator and Surveillance Manager since September 2016, focusing on Lasix administration coordination and managing the barn surveillance program. Prior experience includes serving as the Thoroughbred Racing Manager at Galway Downs and the Assistant Stable Manager at Barretts Equine Sales LTD. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business and Management with a minor in Equine Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a high school diploma from Maranatha High School.
