Pedro A Pelayo Jr is an experienced event operations professional with a strong background in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Event Operations Manager at Santa Anita Park since September 2022, Pedro oversees the setup and operations for specialty events. Previous roles include Banquet Manager at JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, where responsibilities included managing everyday banquet operations, and a variety of positions at Marriott International, including Catering Service Attendant and Assistant Banquet Manager. Additionally, Pedro has provided quality training and resources as a Presenter for the National Family Life & Education Center. With a foundation in guest services from AEG Live and extensive experience in event setup at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Pedro possesses a diverse skill set that enhances event management and execution. Educated at Westchester High School with a High School Diploma obtained in 2005.
