Julie Ann Brown

Julie Ann Brown serves as the Chair of Business Administration at Santa Barbara City College since June 2021, focusing on mentoring and motivating students in finance, international business, and marketing. With a rich career spanning decades, Julie Ann Brown has also established Santa Barbara Ghost Tours, offering unique walking tours that blend history and storytelling. An accomplished writer, Julie Ann Brown collaborated with Oonagh Pope on the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty's Daughter," transitioning it into screenplay form with Joan Lane. Previous experience includes a professorship in business at Antelope Valley College from 1987 to 2001. Julie Ann Brown holds degrees in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, Non-Profit Marketing from Mississippi State University, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of La Verne.
