Robert Cantrell

Robert Cantrell is a dedicated educator and coach with extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as an SBCEO PASC Candidate at the Santa Barbara County Education Office since August 2023. As a Social Studies Teacher and ASB Director at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School since January 2021, Robert has made significant contributions to student leadership. Additionally, Robert has held the position of Head Soccer Coach for the Girls Varsity team since 2005, leading the team to nine league championship seasons and multiple playoff appearances. With a diverse background, Robert also played as the bass player in The Molly Ringwald Project since August 2011, showcasing musical talent. Prior professional experience includes roles in sales training and management at Bargain Network, as well as various teaching positions and managerial roles in previous organizations. Robert earned a Bachelor's degree in History from UC Santa Barbara and an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Allan Hancock College.
