Miguel Zepeda

Miguel Zepeda is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in healthcare and engineering. Currently serving as a Surgical Intensive Care Nurse at Cottage Health since January 2022, Miguel demonstrates a commitment to patient care. Miguel also holds a position as a Research and Development Engineer at UC Santa Barbara's Materials Research Lab, where advanced X-ray diffraction tools are utilized for materials characterization. As a volunteer staff member with Doctors Without Walls, Miguel provides vital health services to underserved populations. Additional roles include serving as a Search and Rescue Technician for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department, a Wildland Firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service, and an educator in STEM subjects.
