Judith Smith-Meyer currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Santa Barbara Foundation, where the mission focuses on mobilizing philanthropic capital for community resilience. With a robust background in communications, Judith contributes as an art critic for Noozhawk, reviewing cultural events in Santa Barbara County. Previous experience includes Senior Communications Manager at the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, where Judith played a key role in the organization’s COVID-19 crisis response, and a range of editorial and educational roles at institutions such as Lesson Planet and UCSB Arts & Lectures. Judith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Professional Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
