Associate Curator, Anthropology at Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History

Justin Lemberg is an experienced professional in anthropology and archaeology, currently serving as the Assistant Curator of Anthropology at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center since January 2023. Prior to this role, Lemberg worked as a Field Archaeologist at HDR from October 2021 to June 2022 and held a position as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Laboratory Technician at the University of Chicago from February 2019 to August 2021. Lemberg holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Chicago, obtained in August 2018, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the same institution, completed in June 2004.
