Brett Robitaille Filippin

Brett Robitaille Filippin has a diverse background in marketing, advertising, and political campaign management. Currently serving in a dual role as Marketing & Advertising professional at Santa Barbara News-Press since January 2021 and as Executive Director & Finance Chair for the Central Committee of the Santa Barbara County Republican Party since October 2019, Brett has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities. Previous positions include Campaign Strategist/Manager for Andy Caldwell for Congress, Director of Field Operations for Bruce Porter for County Supervisor, and Campaign Staffer for the same candidate earlier in their career, where responsibilities involved fundraising and team building. Educational credentials include a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of San Diego and participation in leadership programs such as the American Legion Boys State and Santa Barbara ASL Immersion Institute.
