Barbara Hirsch

Barbara Hirsch is the owner of Santa Barbara Yoga Center since January 2005, actively contributing to the community and promoting excellent yoga teachings. As an author, Barbara has created weekly Ecofacts since 2005, contributing insights to various publications, including Santabarbaraview.com and LA Yoga. Serving as a sound designer for the SBCC Theater Department and Ensemble Theater Company since 2011, Barbara has recorded concerts and sessions for commercial release. As a recording engineer, experience spans over several decades with significant roles at the Music Academy of the West, Santa Barbara Symphony, and Opus 1 mobile recording, specializing in acoustic and classical recordings. Additionally, Barbara served as a board member for The Sustainability Project from 2011 to 2013 and held various positions at Santa Barbara City College from 1978 to 1984. Barbara holds an M.A. in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara.
