Chenoa Orme-Stone

Teaching Artist; Substitute Section Cellist at Santa Barbara Symphony

Chenoa Orme-Stone is a highly accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in cello performance and instruction. Currently serving as the Director of the Santa Barbara Branch of Junior Chamber Music since January 2023, Chenoa has also been a freelance musician and cello teacher since 2010. In addition to these roles, Chenoa is a Teaching Artist and Substitute Section Cellist with the Santa Barbara Symphony, and previously held positions as Director of the Early Strings Training Program and Area Coordinator for Strings Chamber Music at Santa Barbara Strings. Chenoa's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Cello from Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium, a Doctor of Musical Arts in Cello from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
