Gabe Escobedo

Gabriel Escobedo, M.A. has extensive experience in overseeing and managing various sports and recreation programs. Currently serving as School Board Trustee for Santa Barbara Unified School District and as a Board Member for organizations such as STESA and CAUSE. Previous roles include Planning Commissioner and Chair for the City of Santa Barbara, as well as roles at UC Berkeley and California State University San Marcos. With a Master's degree in Kinesiology, Gabriel has demonstrated expertise in program management, budget oversight, staff supervision, event planning, and promoting community engagement.
