Gustavo M. Escott

Gustavo M. Escott, PhD, currently serves as Site Manager, Farmacêutico, and Clinical Research Coordinator at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre since June 2021, while also working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul since December 2019. Previously, Gustavo held the position of Associate Researcher at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre from October 2017 to December 2019 and briefly served as a Professor at FSG - Centro Universitário da Serra Gaúcha in July 2017. International experience includes a role as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Porto in 2015. Early career experience includes an internship at the Regulatory National Agency from June 2009 to March 2010. Educational credentials include a PhD in Medical Sciences with a focus on Endocrinology and a PhD in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Physiology, both from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, alongside a Master's degree in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Bachelor's degrees in Pharmacy and Biomedicine from Centro Universitário Metodista IPA.
