County Federal was originally chartered in the State of California under the name Santa Clara County Employees Credit Union. County Federal serves Santa Clara County employees, but also San Benito County, many cities within Santa Clara County, Santa Clara County Office of Education, Valley Medical Center and many other agencies, companies and non-profit organizations affiliated with the County.

The Leadership Team at Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union, also known as County Federal, is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the overall operations of the credit union. This team, comprised of senior executives and vice presidents, ensures the delivery of exceptional financial solutions and services to members, while fostering the County Federal Experience.
