Jon Black

Jon Black has been with the Santa Clara County Fire Department since February 2006, holding various roles such as Battalion Chief, Training Captain, and Fire Captain. Prior to this, Jon worked at the California State Fire Training and NASA Ames Fire Department. Jon's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Fire and Emergency Services Administration from Colorado State University and an Associate of Science in Fire Technology from Cabrillo College. Additionally, Jon participated in the Student Firefighter - I internship program with UTC Fire Department. At California EMS Academy, Jon continued to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
