Josephine C. Chen

Josephine C. Chen is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in database management and applications analysis. Currently serving as an Information Technology Applications Analyst at Santa Clara County Fire Department since May 2020, Josephine manages and maintains departmental databases while ensuring data integrity through comprehensive backup and recovery processes. Prior experience includes roles at Philips Medical Systems from 2000 to 2017, where Josephine worked as a Database Administrator and provided technical support across R&D teams, and at ADAC Laboratory and JAS Systems in programming and database administration capacities. Josephine holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University and a Certificate in Data Science from UC Irvine, obtained between July 2018 and August 2019.
