Prashanth Asuri

Prashanth Asuri is an accomplished leader in the fields of bioengineering and healthcare innovation, currently serving as Chair of Bioengineering and Professor of Bioengineering at Santa Clara University. With a focus on developing quality academic programs and empowering students to create equitable healthcare solutions, Asuri is also the Director of Healthcare Innovation and Design, fostering partnerships with biotech and medtech companies. Additional roles include Faculty Associate at the SCU Ciocca Center, where contributions support experiential learning initiatives, and Innovation Consultant at IDEA Coaching and Consulting, dedicated to helping professionals implement tailored innovation strategies. Asuri’s past experiences include co-founding SE3D, facilitating 3D printing educational solutions, and holding significant positions at Genentech, where a focus on innovation strategy and coaching was paramount.
