Tyler Masamori

Tyler Masamori is an experienced emergency management professional with a diverse background in emergency medical services and safety roles. Currently serving as Emergency Planning Manager and EMT at Santa Clara University since July 2016, Tyler has held multiple positions including COVID-19 Response & Recovery Coordinator and Acting Watch Commander. Previous experience includes firefighting and EMT roles at Skywalker Properties Ltd. and various safety and security positions at Pandora, Pixar Animation Studios, and the City of Santa Clara. Tyler also volunteered as a Gallery Guide at The Walt Disney Family Museum and contributed policy analysis for the Santa Clara Fire Department. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Sonoma State University, obtained in 2001.
