Wilson Garone has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Wilson started their career at Kodak, where they held various positions, including Tax Planning Manager and Southern Cone Corporate Financial Analyst. In 1997, they joined Microsoft, where they worked in several roles, including Director of Finance in Brazil, Senior Director of Finance in Latin America, and Vice President and CFO of the Sales, Marketing, and Services Group. During their time at Microsoft, they also served as the Executive Sponsor for Latinx and was responsible for overseeing the financial activities of Microsoft's largest division. In 2019, they moved to Seattle University as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Santa Clara University.
Wilson Garone has completed an Executive Education program in Global Strategy at Harvard Business School and a similar program in Finance for Executives at INSEAD. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Additionally, Wilson has completed a postgraduate course in Business Administration and Finance at USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
