Lena Eyen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community impact, policy development, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as a Community Impact and Policy Specialist at the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority since August 2019, Lena focuses on nature-based solutions, land conservation, and sustainable resource management. In addition, Lena holds a Board Member position with the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters, where responsibilities include endorsing environmentally-minded leaders and engaging in communications initiatives. Previous roles include Client Services Coordinator and Case Manager at West Valley Community Services, Program Coordinator at Grays Harbor Youth Works, and Environmental Ethics Fellow at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. Lena has been actively involved in community education and advocacy, showcasing a commitment to addressing critical environmental and social issues. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at San Jose State University, Lena also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
