Jerry Dewitt

Jerry DeWitt is a Postdoctoral Researcher at both SDSU Research Foundation and UC San Diego Health - Moores Cancer Center, starting in January 2024. Prior to this, Jerry served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sanford Burnham Prebys from June 2023 to February 2024. Jerry's earlier experience includes roles as a Laboratory Assistant at Santa Cruz Biotechnology and as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where Jerry earned a Doctor of Philosophy in MCD Biology in April 2023, following a Bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology obtained in 2017. Additional experience includes a summer internship at Genentech, where Jerry focused on analyzing cell expansion datasets for drug candidates in clinical trials, developing skills in drug efficacy determination and non-compartmental analysis using Phoenix WinNonlin.
