Emily Burton

Emily Burton has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Emily currently works as a Management Analyst at the City of Santa Cruz, where they support the City Budget division in developing the annual budget and Capital Investment Program. Their responsibilities include estimating costs and revenues, verifying budget data accuracy, and preparing reports.

Prior to this, Burton served as a Budget Analyst at Cabrillo College, where they collaborated with different departments to maintain the District's Position Control Number Tracker and produced budget documents for the Board of Trustees. Emily also worked as a Financial Aid Advisor, handling student aid processing and overseeing the Federal Work Study program.

Burton has also held roles at different educational institutions such as the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they were a Domestic Frosh Application Reviewer. Emily worked as an Instructor at Scout from University of California and as a Site Supervisor for Isolation/Quarantine Shelters at the County of Santa Cruz.
