Merritt Grooms

Merritt Grooms has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career as an Intake Counselor at the Harvard University Cyclotron Lab, where they provided counseling for adults and art therapy for children. They later became an owner of Indigo Designs_Retail Fashion & Jewelry Boutique and then Indigo Glass Blowing & Design Studio, managing operations and overseeing design and marketing. Merritt also worked as an Art Director and Designer at Joe's Production and Grille Inc., where they received numerous awards for their work in music videos. They further honed their creative skills as a Manager at the Palo Alto International Film Festival, leading a team of volunteers and supporting acclaimed speakers. Additionally, Merritt held the position of Assistant Manager and Stylist at J.Foss, focusing on sales, customer engagement, and social media management. Most recently, Merritt worked at the City of Santa Cruz as an Education Program Specialist. Merritt Grooms attended the San Francisco Art Institute from 2000 to 2002, where their field of study was Photography and Painting.
