Water Resources Engineer at SANTA CRUZ CITY OF

Nicole Haley has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Nicole started their career as an Assistant Engineer at CHA, Inc., where they focused on highway design and transportation engineering. Nicole was involved in various tasks such as functional design, approval, and implementation of roadway intersections, drainage systems, and traffic control plans. Nicole also assisted in preparing cost estimates and construction details.

Afterwards, Nicole worked at Sandis as a Design Engineer, where they specialized in civil and traffic engineering. Nicole was responsible for the grading, drainage, and utility design of projects, as well as the design and implementation of stormwater treatment systems and erosion control plans.

Nicole then joined the City of San Jose - Municipal Water System as a Project Engineer. In this role, Nicole provided engineering support and project management for the Water Resources Division. Nicole designed and managed several Capitol Improvement Projects, including reservoir rehabilitation, valve exercising program, safety & security projects, meter replacement program, and on-site inspections. Nicole also assisted the Engineering Department and Operations & Maintenance staff with water quality and customer inquiries.

Currently, Nicole works as a Water Resources Engineer at the City of Santa Cruz. Additional details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Nicole Haley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. In 2005, they also participated in a semester study abroad program at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they focused on studies in Civil Engineering.
