Ayla Reed

Ayla Reed is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Santa Cruz City Schools since November 2021. Prior roles include Assistant Site Director at Campus Kids Connection Inc, where Ayla fostered a safe and enriching environment for children while mentoring students. Previous experience as a Swim Coach and Lifeguard at Westgate Cabana Club showcases Ayla’s leadership in developing athletes and ensuring safety in aquatic environments. Additional roles in child care, including Teacher's Aide at Happy Days Child Learning Center and Nanny for the Van Putten Family, highlight a commitment to nurturing young children. Ayla also contributed to organizational leadership as Vice President of Kappa Kappa Gamma, managing events and recruitment efforts. Ayla holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Intensive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
