Sallie Corbin

Sallie Corbin is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and science communications. Currently, Sallie serves in Science Communications at MBARI and as a member of the Climate Action Task Force for the City of Santa Cruz, both since May 2023. Additionally, Sallie has been a Bilingual STEAM Teacher and Curriculum Writer at Santa Cruz City Schools since August 2014 and a Curriculum Developer for Seeds to STEAM since June 2020. Previous experience includes serving as a Bilingual Science and Math Teacher for Pajaro Valley School District from August 2009 to June 2015. Sallie holds a Master's Degree in Bilingual Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a certification in Horticultural Therapy from Cabrillo College, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a focus on Natural Resource Conservation and French from James Madison University.
