Sarah Squires

Sarah Squires is a dedicated mental health counseling intern at Santa Cruz City Schools, specializing in individual counseling for high school students dealing with various mental health concerns. Squires has extensive experience in mental health advocacy through roles at The Hidden Opponent, where contributions included leading a campus captains team to promote mental health awareness among college athletes. Additional roles include mentoring through Better Together, serving as a recovery counselor and managing therapeutic groups at The Lotus Collaborative, and providing support via ANAD and Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness. Squires holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Concordia University-St. Paul and an Associate degree in Kinesiology from Cabrillo College.
