John Guernsey is an experienced professional with a diverse background in audio, video, lighting solutions, and consulting services. Currently serving as the Technical Director for the Santa Cruz Film Festival, John collaborates with teams, filmmakers, and audiences to enhance festival experiences. With a long-standing role as a Technology Consultant for K & K Sound & Lighting, John provides comprehensive A/V solutions for various sectors. As a Sound Designer for ocean digital, focus is placed on delivering high-quality sound for various applications. Additionally, John operates as a Principal Business Consultant with Brandywine Insights and as a Leadership Consultant with John Gee, helping organizations improve effectiveness. Experience also includes teaching special education, designing high-end residential solutions, and sound editing for media projects. John holds a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Jose State University.
