Susan Huffman

Susan Huffman is a seasoned professional in the field of child welfare and support for resource families, currently serving as a Trauma Informed Care Trainer at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education since March 2017. Susan also operates as a self-employed Resource Family Support & Training Coordinator and Mentor Coordinator, focusing on providing specialized training and support for resource parents within the Family and Children's Services system in Santa Cruz. Prior experience includes serving as the Kinship Resources & Training Coordinator at Cabrillo College, where Susan was responsible for recruiting and training foster parent mentors, as well as conducting Spanish language training for Spanish-speaking foster parents. Susan's extensive background also includes work with Family & Children's Services and California Children's Services. Susan's educational credentials were obtained from Bowling Green State University-Firelands and Firelands High School.
