Brenda Nolen

Brenda Nolen has extensive experience in safety and security. Brenda started their career as a Sworn Police Officer at the Monterey Regional Airport in 2009 and then joined the Santa Clara Police Department in 2014. In 2014, they also became a Program Manager, Student Advisor, Training Coordinator, and Firearms Instructor at the South Bay Criminal Justice Training Consortium. Brenda joined the Santa Cruz Seaside Company in 2014 as a Manager, Corporate Safety and Security. Brenda was responsible for overseeing daily security operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with Human Resources. In 2016, they took on the role of Operations Manager On-Duty at the Santa Cruz Seaside Company. Brenda currently holds the position of Director, Corporate Safety and Security at the Santa Cruz Seaside Company, where they lead a team, manages the operating budget, and ensures patrol operations and risk management for the organization. Brenda also serves as the primary point of contact for public relations, crowd control, and law enforcement coordination.

Brenda Nolen's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Administration of Justice from California State University - East Bay. Brenda also completed the Department of Justice Special Agent Training Academy, where they obtained a POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Advanced Certificate in Administration of Justice. Additionally, Brenda has attended the POST Crisis Intervention Training Academy, POST Firearms Instructor Training, POST Use of Force Instructor Training, and the POST Specialized Investigator Academy.
