Amr Sorour

Amr Sorour is an experienced IT professional with a background in network and system administration, software development, and frontend web development. Currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County since April 2019, Amr previously held positions as a System Administrator and Software Developer at Ericsson, where skills in modifying and debugging software using C++ and testing storage applications with Python were utilized. Amr's earlier experience includes frontend web development at 37 Signals, focusing on user interactions and security enhancements, and Linux administration at TE data, where responsibilities included server monitoring and maintenance. Amr holds an Associate of Science degree in Network and System Administration from Cabrillo College, complemented by studies at Mansoura University.
