Tamar Wexler

Tamar Wexler is a dedicated wellness coach currently serving at the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County since October 2021. Previous experience includes a hospitality internship at Genentech from June 2020 to May 2021, where responsibilities involved program support and metric compilation. In 2019, Tamar contributed as a Healthy Connections Intern at Community Connection, focusing on community building for adults with psychiatric disabilities, and as a Life Lab Intern, leading science education activities for elementary-aged children. Early work experience includes roles as a prep cook at Camp Tawonga and as a high school explainer at the Exploratorium. Tamar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, complemented by studies at Maastricht University and a high school diploma from the Jewish Community High School of the Bay.
