Ian McHenry

Advisor at Santa Cruz Works

Ian McHenry is currently an advisor at Santa Cruz Works. Prior to that, they were an angel investor and the founder and CEO of Nose Rider Labs. Ian has also worked as a corporate development associate at Mercury Payment Systems and as a program associate at One Acre Fund.

Ian McHenry has always been entrepreneurial. Ian started their first bootstrapped startup, Wetter Feet, in 2012. In 2011, Ian began working at Mercury Payment Systems as a corporate development associate. Ian was part of a new team brought in after global technology private equity firm Silver Lake Partners purchased Mercury Payments. Ian worked closely with the CFO on strategic M&A (including the acquisition of Sundrop Mobile), internal consulting, and financial reporting. Mercury was later sold to Vantiv for $1.65B.

In 2009, Ian began working as a program associate at One Acre Fund. Ian worked there for two years before moving on to their next venture.
