Kris Longley-Postema

Kris Longley-Postema is an experienced production professional currently serving as the Director of Production at The Santa Fe Opera since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kris operated as an Owner's Representative at NV5 from July 2019 to August 2023, overseeing construction and real estate development projects with a focus on programming, procurement, and construction management. Kris also held the position of Senior Project Manager for Meow Wolf, managing art exhibitions and facility construction from January 2018 to May 2019. Earlier experience includes roles at The Santa Fe Opera as Associate Production & Facilities Director and at The Juilliard School as Production Activities Administrator. Kris’s career began with various stage management roles across theater, dance, and opera productions throughout the United States. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornell College and a Master of Fine Arts from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.
