Tricia Butler has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, specifically in the water and environment sector. Tricia started their career at Salt River Project in 1983 in an Engineering - Rotational Program. After that, they joined the United States Peace Corps as a Water and Sanitation Technology Volunteer from 1985 to 1988. Tricia then worked at Damon S. Williams Associates as a Project Engineer from 1988 to 1990, and later joined Carollo Engineers as a Project Engineer from 1990 to 1997. Tricia then moved on to Water 3 Engineering as a Project Manager from 1997 to 2008. Tricia's next position was at RMC Water and Environment, where they worked as a Sr. Project Manager from 2009 to 2014. Currently, Tricia holds the position of Chief Engineer at Santa Margarita Water District since 2014.
Tricia Butler has a strong educational background in engineering and management. Tricia obtained their BS in Engineering with a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University, graduating in 1983. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued an MS in Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering at Arizona State University from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Tricia further expanded their knowledge in the field of management by completing a Masters International Management program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1988 to 1990.
