David Plum

David Plum has extensive experience in education and behavioral support, currently serving as an Instructional Assistant - Behavioral Support at Santa Maria Bonita School District since January 2020. Prior to this role, David has been a self-employed Student Supervision Aide since 2005 and a Freelance Writer and Content Creator, with significant expertise in various writing formats. David also has ten years of successful tutoring experience in English as a second language, math, essay writing, and SAT prep for all ages. Previous teaching positions include a teacher at North-West College, where David instructed introductory classes on life skills and academic subjects, and a teacher at Santa Ana Unified School District, where David taught fifth grade, special education, and coached sports. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a high school education program at Bishop Blanchet High School.
