Art Hsieh

Art Hsieh is an accomplished professional in the field of emergency medical services, currently serving as the Faculty Coordinator and Program Director of the Paramedic Academy at Santa Rosa Junior College since August 2011. In addition to this role, Art Hsieh works as a Paramedic and Field Training Officer for Sonoma County Fire District and has extensive experience as a Program Site Visitor for the Committee of Accreditation of Training Programs for the EMS Profession. Previously, Art Hsieh was an NREMT Exam Representative for the National Registry of EMTs, a per diem paramedic for American Medical Response, and served as a paramedic for Del Puerto Health District. Art Hsieh also contributed to the EMS field as an Editorial Advisor and Columnist for Praetorian Group and as the Chief Executive Officer and Education Director for the San Francisco Paramedic Association. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Adult Education from San Francisco State University and a certification in Paramedicine from Northeastern University.
