Lara Branen

Lara Branen is an experienced dance educator and choreographer with a career spanning several decades. Since 1988, Lara has served as a Dance Teacher, Choreographer, and Director at Santa Rosa Junior College, while also holding the position of Artistic Director at Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop from 1978 to 2021. In this role, Lara was responsible for hiring teachers, scheduling classes, creating curriculum, and overseeing all artistic aspects of summer dance intensives. Lara holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Dance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
