Chance Landreneaux has over 18 years of law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Police Officer with the Santa Rosa Police Department since November 2015. Prior to this role, Chance worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the County of Humboldt from September 2005 to November 2015, where responsibilities included serving as a Field Training Officer, SWAT Team member, Advanced Officer Instructor in Firearms and Defensive Tactics, and a Use of Force expert while investigating various serious crimes. Earlier experience includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff at Del Norte County Sheriff's Office from August 2004 to September 2005, recognized as "Rookie of the Year" in 2005. Chance holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, earned between 2013 and 2015.
