Michael McHatten

Director Of Operations And Administration at Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe

Michael McHatten has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael began their career in 1980 as a Landscape Construction and Maintenance Technician at Boulder Creek Landscape and Construction. Michael then worked as a Landscape Construction Manager/Estimator at Harris Landscape/Harris Duley Landscape from 1985 to 1995. After that, they served as the Grounds Manager at Clovis Unified School District from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they held multiple roles including Parks Manager, Organizational Training Manager, and Swiss Army Knife at the City of Fresno. Michael then worked as the Director of Parks and Recreation/Director of Administrative Services at the City of Madera from 2005 to 2011. Michael served as the City Administrator at the City of Angels Camp from 2011 to 2016. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the City Manager at the City of Soledad. Prior to their current position, they were the City Manager in Transition at "None at this time" from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Operations and Administration at Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe from 2022.

Michael McHatten attended California State University, Fresno from 1981 to 1988. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences.
