Eduwiges Llamas (She/Her/Ella)

Director, Multilingual Services at Santa Rosa City Schools District

Eduwiges Llamas has served in California public schools since 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chicano and Latino Studies from Sonoma State University. She later went on to earn a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Sacramento State University.

Ms. Llamas' experience spans from teaching in the elementary levels both in Bilingual and Dual Immersion settings as well as holding a variety of leadership roles K-12 and coordinating a county-wide program through the County Office of Education system.

Eduwiges is passionate about ensuring the academic success of all Emergent Bilinguals as well as encouraging and supporting parents in family engagement and involvement through the English Language Advisory Committees (ELAC) and the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC).
