Tim Zalunardo (He/Him/His)

Executive Director, Equity, Growth & Assessment at Santa Rosa City Schools District

Tim Zalunardo has served in Santa Rosa City Schools since 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Sonoma State University. He later went on to earn his teaching credential for English Language Arts and English as a Second Language, which he taught for 10 years at the middle school level. He later went on to earn his credential in Educational Leadership, working as a high school administrator and principal for over 8 years. He then went on to earn his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, moving into his district leadership in the 2018-2019 school year. As an alum of El Molino High School in Sonoma County and as a first generation college graduate, Tim Zalunardo is committed to equity initiatives in schools and firmly believes schools can shape their local communities for the better. He takes pride in serving his community from within Santa Rosa City Schools and feels humbled to positively contribute to the lives of students within Santa Rosa.
