Felicia Garcia

Felicia Garcia currently serves as the Education Programs & Volunteer Manager for the Santa Ynez Chumash Museum & Cultural Center, a position held since July 2023. Felicia co-hosts the Exhibiting Kinship Podcast and previously held the role of Community Outreach Manager at Local Contexts from November 2021 to July 2023. Prior experience includes several positions at the School for Advanced Research from September 2018 to December 2021, such as Curator of Education and Special Projects Coordinator. Other notable roles include a School & Youth Programs Internship at the Guggenheim Museum, a Native American Fellowship at the Peabody Essex Museum, and a Curatorial Internship at El Museo del Barrio. Felicia’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University.
