Romas Kudirka

Romas Kudirka is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and bioconjugation, currently serving as the Head of ADCs at Santa Ana Bio, Inc. since June 2024. Previously, Romas held various leadership roles at Bolt Biotherapeutics, Inc. from July 2018 to June 2024, including Director of Chemistry and Director of Chemistry & Bioconjugation. Prior to that, Romas worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Catalent Pharma Solutions and Redwood Bioscience, where significant contributions included the creation and optimization of novel heterocyclic bioconjugation techniques for antibody-drug conjugates. Early career experiences include a Post-doctoral Scholar position at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, a Graduate Student Researcher role at UC Irvine, and a Research Associate position at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation. Romas holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine and a BS in Chemistry from UC San Diego.
