Cindy Witbooi

Cindy Witbooi is an experienced professional in the short-term insurance industry, currently serving as a Relationship Manager and Portfolio Manager at Santam Insurance since February 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a Short Term Insurance Advisor at F&C Brokers from November 2021 to November 2022, and a lengthy tenure at Santam Insurance from June 2005 to March 2021, during which Cindy held the roles of Relationship Manager and Underwriting Governance. In the latter role, responsibilities included managing the underwriting profitability of online brokers and ensuring adherence to underwriting standards. Additionally, Cindy started a career at Mutual & Federal as an Underwriter from June 2003 to May 2005. Education includes a Higher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance Practice from the University of South Africa and executive development training from the University of Stellenbosch.
