Shahiem Ganief

Shahiem Ganief is a highly experienced actuarial professional with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Actuarial at Santam since September 2001, Shahiem specializes in risk pricing, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, data analytics, and fraud modeling. Prior to this role, Shahiem held positions as Manager - Actuarial and Senior Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape from January 1991 to August 2001, contributing significantly to academia. Shahiem's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Stellenbosch and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of the Western Cape.
