Wikus Olivier

Wikus Olivier is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer at Santam Insurance since July 2023, Wikus previously held several key roles at Sanlam from August 2019 to July 2023, including Group Executive: Strategy and Acting Chief Financial Officer. Wikus's career at Sanlam Limited spanned over two decades, where responsibilities included Group Financial Reporting, finance executive roles, and overseeing tax compliance for the organization's extensive operations. Prior to Sanlam, Wikus worked as a Senior Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers South Africa from January 1997 to May 2000, managing audit engagements for various large clients. Wikus holds an Honours B Accounting degree from Stellenbosch University, completed in 1996.
